Saviero is a name which runs through many generations of the Trimboli family, most recently from Salvatore’s father to his own son. The wines under this brand all speak of Europe’s great family of grape varieties including Vermentino (the Trimboli family was one of the first in NSW to plant this Italian variety), Grenache (originally from Spain) and Sangiovese (the famed grape of Tuscany). Salvatore’s father Saviero taught Salvatore to make wine, and this brand is a salute to a long-standing family tradition.
