Grenache
Overview
The name Saverio runs through many generations of the Trimboli family, most recently from Salvatore’s father to his own son. The wines under this brand all speak of Europe’s great family of grape varieties including Grenache (thought to be originally from Spain), Vermentino (the Trimboli family was one of the first in NSW to plant this Italian variety) and Sangiovese (the famed grape of Tuscany). Salvatore’s father Saverio taught Salvatore to make wine, and this brand is a salute to a long-standing family tradition.
