In keeping with Italian family traditions, Salvatore Trimboli was named after his grandfather, the family’s winemaker back in Italy many years ago. And following another fine Italian tradition, Salvatore has launched a Trebbiano under his personal label. He first made Trebbiano in 1983, and aims to bring this fresh, fruity white wine back on-trend in Australia. His second Salvatore wine artfully blends Malbec (from his wife’s native Argentina), Durif (a personal favourite of his for many years) with the velvety softness of Shiraz.
